Dreamworld is the biggest and among the most exciting theme park (or parks!) and wildlife rolled into one. The park is loved and frequently visited by locals and tourists for its over 40 attractions and rides which include five exciting and heart-pumping roller coasters. The park is the home of the Australian Big Brother House since 2001.

Dreamworld is so huge that several themed lands took residence in the area. These include Tiger Island, Rocky Hollow, Ocean Parade, Dreamworks Experience, Town of Gold Rush, ABC Kids World, WhiteWater World, and the Dreamworld Corroboree. A huge collection of rides, animal exhibits, merchandise and souvenir shops, exclusive experiences, and food options are onsite.

Fun and excitement is guaranteed to be nonstop in Dreamworld. There is practically a ride perfect for any age, excitement and adventure levels as well as rides the whole family will certainly enjoy. Head to the Vintage Cars and drive along together with your kids and the whole fam. Kids will definitely adore the Bananas in Pyjamas Fun Maze or enjoy engaging their creative side at the Play School Art Room. Looking for some thrilling experiences over the water? Wedgie, The Green Room, and Wiggle Bay are some of your best bets. Can you imagine yourself flying high in the air as you scream and enjoy the extreme rides on the area? Tail Spin, The Claw, and The Giant Drop are your best bets. Restaurants are also plenty onsite as well as fun shows and interactive activities waiting for you to try them out.

Dreamworld is a destination for fun and experiences. Head to the LEGO store and shop LEGO kids while you get mesmerised by the wonderful block creations at the store. Shopping and photo outlets are also plenty so you'll get to enjoy a lot of souvenir shopping -- aim to bring home memories of the theme park to keep with you.

School reservations, events, and group tours are also available in Dreamworld. There are lots of shows and special events to look forward to in this Australian theme park. Home to slides, shows, animals, and many other wonders, it is one of the ultimate adventures to conquer in the Gold Coast.

Tickets to the park starts at $89.00 for kids 3-13 years of age as well as AUS and NZ pensioners. Adult tickets are at $99.00 for a single day pass. Special events such as Happy Halloween and Park After Dark are scheduled regularly for guests to enjoy. Be face-to-face with one of the most fearsome predators in the jungle, the tigers at the Tiger Island. See them glide in underwater, watch them in their natural habitat, or feed them for a day. Additional rates are implemented for Tiger Cub Experiences as well as the Tiger Feed Experience. You’ll get to take a souvenir photo with the tiger cubs, too! Tiger shows are showcased in this area as well. Shows start at 12 noon till 3:30 pm.

Dreamworld is also a shopping destination and features several photo outlets for you to enjoy. Indulge and satisfy your cravings for sweets at the Candy Nut & Fudge or check out the Australian souvenirs available at the Bunya Traders. Over 30,000 jelly beans in 29 different flavours can be enjoyed at the Jelly Belly inside the Candy Nut & Fudge store. Collect happy memories you can take home at the Dreampix Photos located on the Main Street.

Magic can literally come true at the incredible DreamWorks Experience available at Dreamworld. Meet your favourite characters and animations such as Shrek, the characters from Kung Fu Panda, and the whole crew from the movie Madagascar. There are currently 3 experiences available in the park - Madagascar Madness, Kung Fu Panda: Land of Awesomeness, and Shrek's Faire Faire Away. The kid at heart in you will definitely enjoy this adventure.

Any adventure would be incomplete unless you get to enjoy the food and delicacies that comes with it. There are plenty of dining options to satisfy your hunger at the Dreamworld Theme Park to keep you energised as you hop from one adventure to another. Head to the Dough Bros. Pizzeria for your favourite slices. The Billabong Buffet Restaurant is also a good choice if you crave the Ausralian buffet outback theme.

Inside the Dreamworld Theme Park is another theme park, the WhiteWater World. Open everyday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm except ANZAC and Christmas Days, you are up for some water slides and lots of fun splashes with the whole family. There is a variety of water slides and activities perfect for kids, young teens, adults, as well as groups and families craving for a great time under the sun!

Dreamworld is also known for its animal experiences and wildlife adventures. The park is one of the largest wildlife parks available in the Gold Coast as well as the Southern portion of Queensland. There are several tigers, Koalas, wombats, kangaroos, crocodiles, and different bird species that can be enjoyed onsite. Shearing sheep is also one of the attractions featured in this area of the park.

How to get to SkyPoint Observation Deck

There are plenty of public transportation options available to get to Dreamworld. Surfers Paradise is 20 minutes away and can be accessed via the Pacific Highway from the Smith Street at Southport. A Dreamworld Signage is available at Exit 54 and will guide you through your way to the park.

The Gold Coast is 35 minutes away and is accessible via the Gold Coast Highway passing through the Pacific Highways. Brisbane Airport is more than an hour away. From the airport, head to the Gateway Motorway to access M1. It will take 30 minutes to reach the Coomera Exit where several Dreamworld signages are posted to guide you to the theme park area. Dreamworld shuttle transfers are also available from various Gold Coast accommodations and pick-up points.
